How BFTL handles subscriber information.
Busy Futures Trading Lab collects information visitors choose to provide through subscriber and contact forms and, when a visitor accepts analytics, limited website-usage information used to understand and improve the BFTL site.
Information you provide and optional site analytics
When you request free BFTL resources, we may collect your first name and email address. When you contact BFTL, we may also receive the information you include in your message. If you accept website analytics, BFTL may also receive site-usage information such as pages viewed, traffic source, general device or browser information, and interaction events.
Resource delivery and BFTL communications
Subscriber information is used to provide requested BFTL resources and to send additional BFTL lessons, educational updates, and relevant website or product announcements. Contact information is used to respond to the inquiry that was submitted.
You control whether you remain subscribed
Subscribers can use the unsubscribe option included in BFTL marketing emails to stop receiving those messages.
Google Analytics is optional
BFTL uses Google Analytics to understand website traffic and how visitors use public pages. Analytics is activated only after a visitor accepts analytics through the BFTL privacy-choice banner. Visitors may decline analytics and may reopen their choice at any time using the Privacy Choices link in the website footer.
Systems used to operate the email list
BFTL may use service providers to process subscriber information, deliver emails, and operate website forms. These providers receive information only as needed to perform those services.
BFTL does not sell subscriber information
BFTL does not sell the names or email addresses collected through its subscriber forms.
